Margaux Skalecki, Medicine Dancer, is a registered Yoga teacher, who also holds a BFA in Dance (Boston Conservatory), and an MA from in Personal & Global Transformation through Healing & Performing Arts Education (Lesley University). She is a Reiki Master and is certified in Omega Shakti, the Roth 5 Rhythms ™, Pilates, Hatha Yoga, Meridian Yoga, Children's Yoga, and is a practitioner of Shape-Shifting. As a healer, medium, spirit dancer, singer, performing artist and teacher of children and adults, Margaux has taught nationally and internationally for 25 years. With a vision of building community, she created Being Seen Being Heard (playful and profound possibilities of performance) in 1997, an intergenerational, multicultural ensemble that incorporates peoples with different abilities. Her trust in movement as a spiritual, ecstatic and deep healing practice has led her to facilitate at Interface, Kripalu and The Omega Institute for Holistic studies. Margaux continues to freelance throughout New England and beyond. She also continues to be deeply touched by Yoga/dance/improvisation voice as a life practice, to trust and step into the unknown were in each moment there is a gift of possibility.
